Please join us on October 7th and 8th where we will be having a DDE Information Night. The flyer below will give you the date to attend.
Here is the schedule for both nights:
- 5:00-5:30p in gym- Admin discussing School Improvement Goals and the PTA sharing their goals and how they support DDE.

Davis Drive Middle School has organized a collection of needed items for the people of Western NC due to the catastrophic events. The flyer is below and note that the deadline is October 9th.
We know not all grades have sent out their Field Trip information, but we want to share that Wake County has a new School Cash Online payment system that automates the process for making Field Trip and Media Fine payments and will help increase efficiency and security by making payments directly into the school's bank account.
This reduces the risk of lost payments and allows teachers and office staff to focus on helping students, not on counting cash. In addition, you are automatically informed about school activities!
Teachers will send home the information on how to get into the new system and create your account.
We would love to get all families using this resource. To date we have a 30.79% adoption rate and look forward to seeing our adoption rate rise!

Change of Transportation Policy
Report transportation changes by 1:15pm on the day of the change by calling the Front Office at (919) 387-2130. Do not send a Talking Points message or email to your child’s classroom teacher to report a transportation change.
Early Dismissal Policy
Students who need to be picked up early from school must be checked out by 1:30pm. Please send a Talking Points message or email to your child’s teacher to alert them of the early dismissal plan.
