Notes From Our Admin Team
When You Support Our PTO You Support Our Students!
👉PapaNicholas/Write-A-Check Fundraiser
Here at Wredling, we are fortunate to have a PTO that is student-focused! They work hard to help make Wredling a great place for all of us. They spend a lot of their time, effort, and money supporting student learning and activities, both in the classroom and out. Each year, they fill teacher grants to buy items such as standing desks, wobble chairs, fitness equipment, books, student incentives, and so much more! This dedicated group of volunteers also provides opportunities to ensure our students who have financial challenges are not excluded from any activity.
As we move into week two of our PapaNicholas and Write-a-Check fundraiser, won’t you please consider supporting our PTO, and our Wredling students. When you buy PapaNicholas or Write-a-Check, you truly support every student here at Wredling Middle School!
Happy Monday!
Tim

👉Reminder- Note sent to students regarding Halloween Costumes
This year at WMS we are going to allow costumes on Halloween (Tuesday, October 31) because this falls on a school attendance day. Here are our guidelines:
If you are going to wear a costume, I also expect that you have come to school ready to learn on Halloween.
All costuming must happen at home. That includes any hair or make-up.
With make-up, we need to be able to know who you are-no full face make-up.
The costume must be school appropriate.
For students, there are no masks or inflatable costumes allowed.
There can be nothing that you carry around that is extra. (ie. props, fake weapons, scythes, clubs, dolls, etc.)
Teachers are expected to teach that day, though they may have Halloween themed lessons. And yes, you will be changing for PE.
There will be no Halloween parties. Or candy. Or other treats. Because you will get enough junk at night if you trick or treat.
After Halloween, you can only bring a couple of pieces of candy per day. If you bring more, I will get it and I will eat it. And I don't need any more candy. And throw away your wrappers in the garbage, please.
👉COMFIES DAY November 1st - dress comfortably, in pajamas or lounge wear, but still school appropriate!

CTE Presents Finding Nemo Jr.
From the beloved Disney/Pixar film right to the musical stage, this tale has found the hearts of millions of people. The musical follows Marlin, a clownfish from the Great Barrier Reef, as he embarks across the ocean to find his son Nemo. He meets lots of memorable characters along the way, including a hilariously forgetful but loveable fish named Dory, and his journey proves to him that nothing is impossible with friends to help you, and love to guide your way. The show features songs by award-winning composers Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the same people behind the hit soundtrack of Frozen. Finding Nemo Jr. is a heart-warming tale of adventure, risk, trust, and the strength we all get from our friends and family.
