School Picture day is WEDNESDAY!!! If you need a new form, please reach out to the office and we'll send one home with your child.

We are excited for our 1st PTO Meeting for this school year. We will be meeting on Monday at 3:45pm in the Library. Kids are welcome to attend! We are looking to fill the Vice President and Secretary positions! Our PTO is always seeking volunteers. They are looking for volunteers to help in the school, at home, and out in the community. Get connected with a wonderful group that really helps support our students and staff.

If you've been to Bailey the last day or so, you may have seen that we have a new sign in/out IPAD in the vestibule. If you are signing in your child late (after 8:40am) or signing them out early, you will need to fill in their information and it will ask for you to type a reason and take your photo. If you have business to do inside of the school (i.e. meeting with a staff member, volunteering, etc.), you will need to have your State ID or Drivers License with you. If you have items to drop off for your child, you are to leave them in the vestibule. If your child forgot to take their medicine, we will bring them out to you in the vestibule. We are following the district policy in staying consistent with our safety measures. Please reach out to me personally if you have any questions or concerns.

If there are any changes to your child's dismissal procedure, please make sure the teacher and office staff know PRIOR to 1:00pm. You can send in a note with your child in the morning, or call the office at (219) 962-1302.

If your child will be absent for any reason, please call the office at (219) 962-1302 to report their absence. This includes Tuesday and Thursday eLearning Days.

Students are considered tardy after 8:40a.m. Each tardy results in missed educational opportunities for a child and results in a substantial disruption to the classroom environment when the student enters.

WATER: If your student would like, they can bring in a container/bottle of water to school. They are NOT permitted to have other liquids to drink in the classrooms.

SNACKS: Please check with your child's teacher if they are allowed to bring snacks into their classrooms. If permitted, students should only bring an individual serving for themselves. They are not allowed to share with others.

We are collecting Strack & Van Til Receipts! With these, we can earn points towards earning educational equipment for our school! Ask your family and friends to save their receipts too!

Our wonderful PTO provides an array of incredible events and experiences for our Bailey students, staff, and families. We would love you to be part of it!

It's a great opportunity to become involved in your child's school by planning fun activities, connecting with staff and other families, and making a difference in our classrooms and beyond.
