Math Enrichment Contests:This year as part of the grade six mathematics enrichment programme, the boys have participated in two maths contests, the Noetic Learning Math Contest and the Canadian National Mathematics League Contest. Beyond just solving equations, these contests foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity. Students develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and are encouraged to approach mathematics in novel ways. Moreover, the types of questions encourage perseverance and resilience in the face of challenging problems, this can help to instill a growth mindset that extends beyond the classroom. A big congratulations to all the boys who participated in these contests, and a special mention to the below boys who performed exceptionally well. I am very proud of all the boys who took part. Special recognition to Edi Obenhaus (Noetic Learning Math Contest - Team winner and National Honour Roll (75%)) and to Michael Gao(19/35), Alexandre Maietta (19/35), Charles Xia (18/35) (Canadian National Mathematics League Contest)
