Eagles' Extra
April 28, 2024
Highlights of the Week
This week our badminton players had a big day on Wednesday as they competed in a tournament in Castor. The athletes worked hard and had a great day! We had a number of our players make the top 5 for their division. Next Wednesday they will head to Stettler for CARA. Good luck to our Eagle Athletes!
On Tuesday I visited the kindergarten class and they were learning about Earth day (April 22nd), and the importance of clean water and picking up garbage. That afternoon, I saw our youngest students racing around our playground picking up garbage. Thank you kinders for your hard work and making our playground a better place!

Student of the Week - Lauryn Kneeland
Lauryn has been an excellent role model for the younger students, not just this week, but this entire year. When she shows up for SEL and reading buddies, she typically has a mature and responsible attitude and leads by example for the younger members of our school. I’ve also personally observed several instances in which she showed great patience and kindness during difficult situations, helping to resolve them quickly and fairly. Thank you, Lauryn!
Student of the Week - Harper Sehlstrom
Harper has many admirable qualities that make her a joy to have as a part of our class. She consistently demonstrates as easy-going and positive attitude. Harper has a friendly and approachable personality that draws people to her. When Harper is faced with challenges, she faces them with a calm and determined approach. Her ability to be organized and focused, even in difficult situations, is admirable.
Student of the Week - Hainsley Whamond
Haisley has shown grit and determination all year long, and she is always ready to tackle any challenge I put in front of her. She is also kind and considerate of others, and carries a smile on her face and a joyful attitude in her heart. Keep working hard every day, Haisley and you will continue to be unstoppable.
