Message from Our Principal Ms. Roberson
As we near the end of the first 9 week grading period it is our joy to continue partnering with you this year to support your child's success. Seeing the smiling faces, kids learning, and teachers building genuine relationships with the kids has been the highlight of each day. This week is Hebron Homecoming! We are so excited to see our Coyotes show that Hebron Hawk Spirit! Please see the Hebron HS Homecoming news and Wednesday's parade information below. It is vital that we continue to have great communication throughout the year. In doing so, our commitment to you is to provide you with timely responses and an open-door policy to address any concerns that may arise. We will continue to follow the LISD Communication policy included below. The Coyote Connections Newsletters will continue to be sent the first Sunday of every month with weekly reminders of major events. You will continue to receive weekly newsletters or emails from your child's teachers full of upcoming events and news of what's happening on campus, in the classroom, and throughout the feeder pattern, along with updates in ClassDojo. Please remember that there is No School on Friday, October 11th and Monday, October 14th. We will see all of our Coyote Ridge students at school on Tuesday, October 15th. As we continue throughout the year please be mindful of the following:

Update from CRE Administration
Effective August 13, 2024, all visitors will be required to show their government-issued ID to the camera prior to entering the building EACH AND EVERY VISIT. Please make sure to plan ahead and have your ID ready for the camera upon ringing the doorbell. Unfortunately, visitors without ID will not be able to enter the building or sign students out even when ID has already been scanned in the system. This does include all volunteers, lunch visitors, room parents, etc. Thank you for your cooperation as we will follow district guidelines to ensure the safety of every student!
Food deliveries from a restaurant or delivery service for students are not permitted under any circumstances. If the district/campus allows lunch deliveries, they may only be made by a student’s parent/guardian unless the parent/guardian has given approval for another designated adult to make a lunch delivery on a specified date and time. Food deliveries must be secured and labeled with the student’s name and grade level as they are dropped off at the office by the parent. Please make sure that any lunch deliveries happen as early in the day as possible so that the office has time to ensure the student is able to access their lunch in time to eat in the cafeteria. Lunch deliveries and lunch visitors will not be accepted during STAAR, TELPAS, or other testing days.
At Coyote Ridge we will continue to GLOW every day! This year's theme is Together We GLOW! With your help and support we have done that every single day! Thank you for being awesome Coyote Ridge parents and families! Please remember we are here to help!

Coyote Ridge GLOW Up For Education Check Drive!!!
Help us brighten the future with our "Glow Up for Education" check drive! We're raising money for essential school supplies to ensure every student has what they need to succeed. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Let's work together to support our students and get them excited for the new school year. Donate today and be a part of the glow!
LISD's Recognize SomeONE program gives our staff and community members the opportunity to highlight the exceptional work of our staff here at LISD. We believe that supporting our staff is critical to creating an encouraging culture where teachers and administrators feel valued and respected. Please click the link below to nominate someone.
Morning Drop-off Support
Please help our families by continuing to pull forward to the bend and wrap around for drop off. When you view the map, the main front entrance should only be used for parents/families using the crosswalk to walk over for drop-off. The main entrance is NOT a drop-off area for the car line.
STAFF IS VISIBLE TO SUPPORT AT THE BEND AND DROPOFF.
At 7:15, our staff is ready to accept families. Some vehicles are stopping at the front entrance to "watch their kids". PreK families are not able to get around the vehicles. Please park if needed. Our PreK families have hand-to-hand assistance at the bend. Our drop-off around the bend (notated by a STAR) and at the doors (notated by a STAR) are aided by on-duty staff to assist with doors. Exiting here is closest to doors, especially on rainy days! Once you reach the large cones, you child may exit.
When traffic comes to a stop, it is usually 5 seconds or less to begin moving again. Please model patience with our staff and families. We all want to ensure that students AND staff members are safe.
Please notice if you park- the arrows to exit. You may only exit in this direction during the school day. Vehicles enter by Maumee to park, which does not allow enough space for vehicles to also exit during arrival and dismissal.
Let’s continue to GLOW by working together!

Helpful tips:
Please be sure Coyote Ridge Elementary is selected for your school. If it is not, we will not be able to see you on our list of approved volunteers.
Note that new fields have been added to the application – if you are volunteering on behalf of a business, civic, or faith-based organization, please be sure to add that information.
Your skill set is asked in order to support classroom instruction, as needed – be sure your skill set is up to date in case we need your particular skills on our campus.
After making any needed changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save application.”
Happy volunteering! 😊
