February 7, 2025 π
When times are hard. A good laugh always helps.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy February! I want to start by thanking all of you who joined us for our recent awards ceremonies and our Red, White, and Blue performance. Your presence and support mean so much to our students and staff. These moments of celebration remind us of the hard work, dedication, and talent within our school community.
We are especially excited for February 21st, when we will celebrate our 3rd National Blue Ribbon Award! This will be a memorable day for our school as we recognize this incredible achievement with several special guests joining us. We look forward to celebrating with our students, staff, and families as we honor the commitment to excellence that makes our school shine.
February is also a month filled with exciting learning opportunities and celebrations. We are looking forward to Black History Month, where students will engage in activities that honor the achievements and contributions of African Americans throughout history. Additionally, our Valentineβs Day festivities will provide students with a chance to celebrate kindness and friendship.
As we move forward, I encourage you to stay connected by checking our school website, attending parent-teacher conferences, and reaching out with any questions or concerns. Together, we can ensure that every child continues to thrive academically and personally.
Thank you for being an essential part of our school community. Wishing you a wonderful February!
Warm regards,
Dorissa Martin
Principal, Northern Lights ABC
