Desserts Around the World
We need your help! This year's teacher/staff appreciation week features an "Around the World"/travel theme, and will feature one day with "Desserts from Around the World."
The Wass PTO wants to gather suggestions from Wass families for some of YOUR favorite desserts from around the world!

Teacher Appreciation Postcards! Coming Soon!
Teacher/Staff Appreciation week is coming up May 5-9th! We're looking to celebrate our teachers in a big way, but we need the help of Wass Wolves!
Coming home with each student in the next week will be a "postcard". We're asking that students choose a deserving teacher or staff member and write on their postcard why they "think the world" of that staff member! The students should feel free to decorate their postcards as much or as little as they'd like!
Once their postcard is ready to be sent - bring it up to the front office and deposit it in the postcard collection mailbox! We will collect these until May 2nd and then distribute them to staff members during teacher appreciation week!
Shhh - we want to keep this as much of a surprise as we can!
There is no limit on how many postcards students can fill out. Feel free to select as many staff members as you feel you'd like to honor! Parents and family members are also welcome to fill out postcards!
Extra copies will be available in the front office and can be printed at home using the attached pdf as well. Make sure to set your printer settings to 2-sided and print along the "long side" to get 2 front to back post cards out of one document!
Thank you so much for helping us make our teachers feel special!

Volunteer Sign-Up for Flower Delivery Day!
Flower Delivery Day is Wednesday, May 21st! The truck will arrive at 10:30 AM to unload the flowers, and families will be able to pick them up in the Wass teacher parking lot on May 21st from 2:00-5:30 PM.
To ensure everything runs smoothly, we are looking for volunteers to help with unloading flowers and assisting during pick-up. If you’re available to donate your time, please take a moment to review the sign-up sheet and choose a time slot that works for you.
Your support is greatly appreciated, and we couldn’t do it without you! Thank you for helping make this event a success!

From the PTO
We hope to see many families enjoying Noodles and Company and Oberweis tonight! The kids always love running into their friends and sometimes even staff while they enjoy their food. :)
It's a fun way to kick off a long weekend!
Kudos to the families who have started up their students' Running with the Wolves fundhub pages! Most classrooms have about 20-30% participation as of now - let's keep those numbers climbing! We especially love seeing the students striving for their personal bests as they tackle Mr. C's training calendar. Our subdivision seems full of healthy wolves out for jogs and walks with their families - keep up the amazing work!
We hope that families have a wonderful long weekend and we wish a Happy Easter to those who celebrate!
