Digital Summer Support
Students can keep their skills sharp this summer with self-paced, digital support opportunities! Digital summer support will be available to K-8 students from June 3rd to July 5th on the Digital Summer Support eCLASS page.
On the Student Portal, go to Additional Resources to find a link for Digital Summer Support.
Once on the Digital Summer Support eCLASS page, students and families will find information on the two digital platforms available to support learning over the summer.
Students will be able to launch their learning, using one or more of these platforms:
● Amplify offers practice in reading; and
● iReady supports mathematics.
Students do not need to complete work in both platforms. Each platform will provide K-8 students with targeted learning opportunities in reading or mathematics, using the student’s answers to determine areas in which they need more help.
These digital tools are a great way to keep students connected and learning at their own pace during the summer!

Education Tips for Parents
Laundry Math is Good Clean Fun
Get a household chore done and sharpen your child’s math skills at the same time! Ask your child to sort and chart the laundry—before or after washing.
While your child sorts, ask: How many socks? How many pairs of socks? How many towels? Are there more washcloths than towels? Are there fewer pairs of pants than shirts?
Have your child keep a tally of different types of laundry items. Then together, compare totals from week to week. Did the family use more towels this week than last week, or fewer?
