As a parent or guardian of a Scott student, your feedback is requested via participation in the annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey. The purpose of this online survey is to understand your perceptions in the areas of connectedness, satisfaction, interaction, involvement, and quality.

Your participation and ratings on this survey are confidential. Aggregate results will be published online in conjunction with the annual Illinois Report Card in the Fall of 2024 provided 20% of parents/guardians participate. The results of this survey will be used to understand areas of strength and opportunities for growth based on your input and feedback at the district and school level.

Scott Home and School’s Eagle Events are selling Kindness Smencil Grams! Help us bring our school one step closer to being the Kindest School on the planet by giving a student, teacher, friend, staff or family member a Smencil Gram!

Each Smencil Gram costs $2.00, which includes your personalized card with a Smencil attached. Simply fill out as many cards as you'd like from the Smencil Gram Flyer and turn them in to your teacher by Wed, Feb. 21st.

Please place your cards (cut out each individual card) and your payment (cash or check made payable to Scott Home & School) in an envelope marked "Smencil Grams". Payment can also be made through Cheddar Up. All Smencil Grams will be delivered on Friday, Feb. 23rd.

Yearbook Orders will be collected starting Monday, February 12, 2024 and orders are due MONDAY MARCH 4, 2024. This will be the only time to order your one of a kind 68 page-full color memory book of Our Story From the Eagle's Nest! Join us at Portillo's for a fundraiser to support Scott Home & School.

Scott Home and School is excited to present Family Movie Night on Thursday, February 29th. We will be showing the movie Super Mario Bros, and this is a FREE event for all families who sign up.

In order to have the most comfortable and enjoyable movie experience, we will be capping the number of attendees to 275. The SignUp Genius for this event will be sent out on Wednesday, February 21st.

Each family who signs up will then receive tickets prior to the event for the number they have indicated on the signup genius. Only those with a ticket will be allowed in.

Rocco's pizza will also be available for preorder, and popcorn and water will be sold for $1 the night of the show. Please see our flyer for all the details.

The 2024 Scott School Science Fair is April 11!

Put on your thinking caps and sign up to participate in the Scott School Science Fair.
Come learn about the incredible wonders of science in a non-competitive, supportive environment.
This is a great opportunity to learn, present and teach others.

Your child may qualify for FREE preschool at Ann Reid Early Childhood Center through the state-funded Preschool For All grant.
