PSATs
Millbury Jr./Sr. High will be hosting the PSATs on October 23rd 2024 for 10th and 11th graders.
Our students in 11th grade, who had the opportunity to test last year, but would like to test again this year, can choose to do so for the cost of $18.00. Juniors are encouraged to test as it gives them one more chance to take the test and become accustomed to the format, which is timed and unlike other standardized tests (MCAS) we administer. Their score could also make them eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Program, which is only open to 11th grade students.
In order for juniors to register for the test, they must sign up using our Google Form. Please know that we only have a set number of tests for 11th grade students. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis and students will be considered fully registered when their fee is paid (cash or check).
Registration closes for juniors on October 11, 2024 as we need to complete pre-administration testing in order to stay on our lunch schedule during our school day testing.

Our Admission page of the website is also wonderful source of information for families. It contains all of the application timelines, registration for the information sessions, and link to the online application. The best recommendation for your students to get more information, is to register for one of the virtual information sessions. This is a way for them to get good information and ask questions about the process. Registration for these sessions is on our website. These sessions are open to both 7th & 8th graders.
The Open House is Wednesday, November 13th from 5:30pm – 8:00pm for a self-guided tour of our school.

Sources of Strength
Sources of Strength is looking for more peer leaders!
Sources of Strength is all about using the power of friendships and social connections to make our school a more positive place. The goal is to prevent serious issues like suicide, bullying, and substance abuse by encouraging students to look out for each other.
Instead of just focusing on what’s wrong, we focus on the good things that give us hope, help, and strength. Peer Leaders will help spread these positive messages throughout our school and community. By building strong connections with friends and trusted adults, we can handle tough times better.
The mission of Sources of Strength is to create a healthier, more supportive world by encouraging students to ask for help when they need it. Through fun and interactive activities, we’ll have open discussions about real problems students face and what can be done to overcome them.
Students and staff will work together to make this positive change happen—both Adult Advisors and Peer Leaders will receive training to help lead the way. Please see Ms. Cabral for more info, the next training is Oct 11th (The day students don't have school).
