Warrior Weekly News
A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
August 23, 2024
Greetings Warrior Families and Friends,
The end of August is always an exciting time of the year as we prepare to start a new school year. We are excited for a new year, new additions to the school, and I am personally excited to be your new principal. I cannot wait to have our 1650ish students back in our halls to kick off an amazing school year. The energy and excitement at the start of a school year is special.
It has been a whirlwind of a summer with many changes at MHS. We cannot wait to have you see the new STEAM addition, fitness facilities, CNA Lab, and professional culinary space. Our students are going to have incredible learning experiences in each of these spaces. Our staff have been working hard to get the rooms ready for students and to create engaging learning opportunities. The community support to make this all possible is incredible and part of what makes this community such a great place. We would love to see you at the MHS Ribbon Cutting event detailed below.
Special note to the incoming class of 2028 students and families. Know that you are going to love being a WARRIOR! Transitioning to high school is a big transition, but you are joining an amazing school full of great student leaders and a staff that will move mountains to help you succeed. MHS is a special place. We embrace the 1Warrior idea that every student is family. Additionally, we have many incredible opportunities for students - from incredible academics to a co-curricular for everyone. We are here to help each student be the the best they can be!
Finally, as your new principal, I look forward to meeting you in the future - at events, the Warriors Welcome, or if you want to set a time to meet. Know that we are here to support your student(s) throughout their journey in any way we can. I also want every student and family to feel connected. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns or just want to meet.
Go, WARRIORS!
