Each year, a number of our students qualify to enter the Elks Club Hoop Shoot contest. On Monday, this group of 7th graders from Team Renaissance had warmed up before testing each other on the number of baskets made with 15 consecutive shot attempts. The instructors, Ms. Jarvis and Mr. Fleming kept track of the scores.

At the end of October, the youngest students are treated to P.E. activities in a black light environment in the small gym. Good pictures are hard to take in the low light there but here are a few anyway from the Explorers 1st grade classroom group.

Explorers students had a great time at the ECHO Center on Friday last week. One of the instructors, Mr. Ward, shared pictures of the student he works with enjoying a number of the learning stations available to visitors.

10-27-2023

Renaissance is beginning to prepare for their annual operation happiness food drive. They are trying to collect many empty boxes for the food collection process that will take place after the November holiday. Over the next three weeks, bring any boxes you can spare to the team Renaissance classroom spaces. Thank you.

Finally! A chance for adults in your family to discover all of the amazing tools that the SACs makerspace has to offer. In this adult workshop, you will create and make a variety of projects with the STEAM Team, while your school-aged children have a pizza and movie night hosted by SACs staff.

Pre-registration is required! Limited to 20 Adults

Hello City School Students and Families,

Our second session of Open Doors will run November 27th - December 21st on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, depending on your choice of class. Dismissal/pick up time will be at 4:15 in the front of the school. Bussing is available, you will need to sign up (see transportation section). After school snacks will be provided.

Operation Happiness is a program of the United Way Northwest VT. It provides a basket of food and gifts for the children in a family (16 and under) for nearly 1000 needy families in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties for the Holidays (Christmastime).

Registration phone numbers, dates and times are based on location and listed in THIS DOCUMENT

For St. Albans you need to call and register on weekdays between November 6th and 17th.
