vehicle insurance cards - Print yours now!
If you drive any Miller Pipeline vehicle with license plates, please update your vehicle’s proof of insurance card. The current insurance card in your vehicle is likely expired, and our insurance certificates are now updated to cover through April 1, 2020. This applies to any vehicle with license plates (dump trucks, pickup trucks, SUVs, etc.). If a police officer or DOT officer stop you, they will require you to have an updated insurance card.
Please visit the Miller Hub, find the state that your license plate is registered under, then print the certificate and put into the glove box of your vehicle. Please be sure to print the certificate of the state in which your vehicle is licensed. If you’re unsure which state to print, it’s whatever state the vehicle’s license plates are from. While Miller has many vehicles with Indiana apportioned license plates, you may work in another state and have Indiana apportioned plates, so you will print the Indiana state certificate for that Miller vehicle.
If you have any questions, please contact Ralph Miller at 317.653.5291 or the Fleet Department at 317.653.5359.
Indiana Apportioned License Plates
Along with insurance cards, please make sure you have a printed and updated cab card. As of April 30, 2019, Indiana Apportioned license plates have expired. Please check your trucks for a valid registration that will read 01-May-2019 to 30-April-2020. If you do not have a valid registration, you are subject to a ticket and impoundment at the discretion of any police officer.
To acquire a registration, please get on your computer and follow the file path: S:\Distribution\Fleet\2019\2019 IN Cab Cards (Apr). Please look for the file that is associated with your truck number. Once you find the correct file, print it off, place it in your glove box, and dispose of the expired cab card.
If you have any questions, please contact your Regional Fleet Supervisor and have them retrieve one for your truck.

safety summit
In April, Regional Technical Trainers and Safety, Quality, and Compliance (SQC) Coordinators from across Miller Pipeline came together in Indianapolis for three days of meetings and presentations. The group heard presentations on fusion tool maintenance, silica/crane training, and electrical training to strengthen their skills and improve our field operations.
"This is a great opportunity to bring everyone in from across the company and share best practices and ideas," said Jeremy Wyatt, Quality Manager. "We want to make sure everyone hears and understands the same messages around safety, quality, and compliance initiatives while sharing their successes and struggles within their regions, all while building relationships. Regardless of which region, we are all one team, and we can rely on each other for help." Thank you for your dedication to our core values and a successful meeting.
What I Live For- PowerPoint Update
As a way to continue our Making Safety Personal initiative and What I Live For focus, all internal PowerPoint presentations should now have the first slide feature a photo of what you live for. It can be a picture of your fishing boat, a motorcycle, your kids playing soccer, a professional family photo, your favorite pet, whatever it is you look forward to every day and at the end of a long, hard work week.
An updated template to download can be found here. If you notice a presentation without one, remind the presenter to insert a photo next time and ask them what they live for! Part of our core value of Commitment – To the Team is knowing our team members on a personal level, starting the dialogue of Making Safety Personal is a great way to do that.

CATCH ONE CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to these employees for receiving high Catch ONE recognition! These employees went above and beyond their daily job functions, which resulted in a positive outcome in the project, team or community. These employees are true examples of our core values. Do you know someone who you would like to nominate? Click here to fill out the nomination form today!
Dean Brumbach (Conshohocken, PA)- On his way to the job site, Dean came upon an accident that had just occurred. Before any emergency responders had arrived, he and another good Samaritan saw a woman trapped in a car and proceeded to help her get out and keep her comfortable. They stayed with her until first responders arrived. I chose integrity for the core value because as always Dean does the right thing whether anyone is looking or not at all times. On the job or in life, Dean is a model for all of our employees in Conshohocken, PA.
Don Maxon, Ed Byrnes, and Clayton Brimemer (Wyoming, MI)- OSHA visited Don Maxon's job site and conducted an inspection on 4/2/19. Don and his crew were prepared and passed OSHA's inspection with flying colors. Don does an excellent job of working safe and mentoring his crew members to work safely. Don and his crew embody all of our MVERGE Core Values and they shined bright due to their demonstrated commitment to our Core Value of Safety during this inspection.
Jim Sigman (Kalkaska, MI)- After spotting all of the marked underground utilities, Jim wanted to look for unmarked utilities he thought were present. He ended up finding six PVC pipes full of fiber optics and electrical wires running from one manhole to another. Jim is always an employee who is there for his team and works safely, and his actions prevented a possible severe accident.
