š Join Us for Hour of Code!
Weāre excited to participate in the Hour of Code, a global movement introducing students to the world of computer science through fun, engaging activities on Code.org on January 22 from 9:40-10:40am. This initiative encourages problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking skills while helping students explore the basics of coding.
During the Hour of Code, students will engage in hands-on activities designed for all skill levels, making it a perfect way to spark interest in technology and innovation.
Do you know someone who works in technology or has experience with coding?
No pre-planning required- we just need volunteers to support students in classrooms during our Hour of Code Event.
š World Read Aloud Day
We are looking for guest readers to celebrate World Read Aloud Day at Washington on February 5, 2025. To make this day special for our students, we would love to arrange several guest readers during the day. Please sign up if you are interested in reading to a class.
