A Message from Dr. Holt
Dear RFISD Community,
January has certainly been an eventful month, and I want to take a moment to thank everyone for their flexibility and understanding during our recent "snow" day. While the unexpected winter weather gave us a rare chance to enjoy a little extra time at home, I am happy to share that this day will NOT need to be made up (thanks to the structure of our academic calendar)!
I am excited that our second semester is off to a strong start. We are continuing our focus of equipping students with the skills they need to excel in an ever-changing world, and I encourage families to ask your students about what excites them most in their learning--it's always inspiring to hear their stories and ideas!
As we prepare for the busy months ahead, I'd also like to encourage everyone to make wellness a priority. This season can be especially demanding, and it's important to find time to take care of yourself and those around you. Whether it's staying active, enjoying quality time with family, or simply taking a moment to rest, prioritizing well-being helps us all perform our best.
I'd also like to mention that we will be beginning our Transfer application process for the 2025-2026 school year soon and will be sharing additional information in February. Something to keep in mind is that ALL transfer applications for the upcoming school year will be completed online using Informed K12. Please be on the lookout for future transfer-related communications via ParentSquare and the RFISD webpage in the weeks to come!
Warmest Regards,
Brian Holt, EdD

Also, please be sure to follow our official RFISD Facebook page if you aren't already. You can find the page by clicking on the "F" above, or you can search Facebook for "Randolph Field Independent School District." The Randolph Elementary School Facebook page and the Randolph Secondary Schools Facebook page will be phasing out, as we continue to fully transition to ParentSquare as our primary communication tool; however, the RFISD Facebook page will continue to remain active moving forward!
