Principal's Message
Greeting families,
In an effort to expedite the application approval of any sibling of our current students , I would like to ask you to complete an interest form so that the applications can be verified and put under the correct priority. I thank you in advance for your help with this matter.
Please fill out the form here.
Also, I would like to share that we met with the simulation center team and we are working on the logistics to take some of our student there to experience the future of Biomedical Science. Our goal is to begin the visits between late January or early February.
We also have plenty of jackets and sweaters in our lost and found. If your child is missing some of this items, please stop by the main office. You can also use the document that I attached to the " Resources you can use" section to see pictures of what we have at the school. Notice that each picture has a number, so if you recognize an item, you can call us at the office and let us know which numbered item belongs to your children. Of course, you can also stop by the office to pick it up
Last, I want to remind you one more time of the importance of daily attendance. Please help the school by taking your children to school daily. If you need to schedule appointments, try to do it after 11:30 am.
Also, if you pick up your child early, please do so by 2:45 pm. That gives us about 30 minutes to prepare for dismissal.
If you have questions or comments, please do not hesitate and ask.
Thanks for choosing us!
Kind Regards,
Roberto Gonzalez

Meet our teachers and staff
Social and Emotional Learning (S.E.L)
We are proud to be a campus that works in Social and Emotional practices with our students. Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) builds the skills, knowledge, and attitudes that both students and adults need to be successful in school, work, and life. They include things such as knowing and controlling your emotions, teamwork, understanding others, making positive choices, and resilience.
There are four signature practices that the school follows:
Morning Meetings
Mood Meter
Respect Agreements
Calming Corners
This week I would like to introduce the morning meeting.
What is a morning meeting?
Responsive Classroom Morning Meeting is an engaging way to start each day, build a strong sense of community, and set children up for success socially and academically. Each morning, students and teachers gather together in a circle for twenty to thirty minutes and interact with one another during four purposeful components:
- Greeting: Students and teachers greet one another by name.
- Sharing: Students share information about important events in their lives. Listeners often offer empathetic comments or ask clarifying questions.
- Group Activity: Everyone participates in a brief, lively activity that fosters group cohesion and helps students practice social and academic skills (for example, reciting a poem, dancing, singing, or playing a game).
- Morning Message: Students read and interact with a short message written by their teacher. The message is crafted to help students focus on the work they’ll do in school that day.
S.E.L Home connections
As you may have heard, flu cases have spiked and many urgent care centers as well as ER departments are overwhelmed with the surge of RSV and respiratory illnesses. Many schools are also experiencing an excessive number of absences. By partnering with Children’s Health School-Based Telehealth they can offer your students easy and convenient access to health care in both school and home settings.
Through the School Telehealth program, they also offer flu and strep testing, at no additional cost to families. The school nurses deliver the tests during the telehealth exam.

We welcome Ms. Mitchell to the Biomedical Preparatory team! She is our school based clinician who will work with our students two times a week.
