Thank you for a FANTASTIC year!

  • Thank you for the privilege of sharing your children with us this year! We are proud of each and every one of them and their academic, social, and emotional growth. The partnership between our school and the community is what makes us truly special.
  • I would like to extend a special recognition to our cast and crew of Newsies Jr. as well as Mr. Manzanera and all staff that supported their performance. Your children are truly exceptional!
  • Mark your calendars for the following dates:
    • Check your email for returning student registration snap codes on July 7th.
    • New student registration starts July 8th (PK and Kinder has already started.)
    • In-person registration for new students is July 17th (DATE CHANGE)
    • Meet the Teacher: August 11th (5:30-6:30)
    • First Day of School: August 13th (7:45-3:05)
  • I hope you all have a restful and joyful summer, and we look forward to seeing you all in August! 6th grade families, best wishes at BJH!! Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!

Through Adopt-A-School, your organization has the opportunity to become a Campus Adopter or District Adopter. When we involve the community, we increase the opportunity for success in each student.

Birthdays at BHE

We love birthdays, and we love to celebrate!

Store bought, individually packaged treats (such as Little Debbie snacks or Rice Krispie treats) are preferred so that teachers can easily pass them out and avoid allergens.

Arrival & Dismissal Reminders

  • Thank you for all your help not turning left into the carpool lane, especially in the mornings from 7:30-7:45!
  • Please do not park on Cummings along the fence with the fence art; this blocks the carpool lane.
  • At arrival, make two lanes, one for the inner lane and one for the outer.
  • Thank you for having your car tag for pick up, whether walk-up or car rider.
  • Walk-ups must be picked up at their designated grade level area.

Lunch Visitor Information

  • You must have a picture ID to show at the front door and to sign in as a visitor through Raptor.
  • We ask that you limit your lunch visits to one day per week to allow your child to have social time with his or her classmates and peers.
  • We ask that you limit screen time and truly enjoy this time with your child. There will be conversation starter cards if you would like to use them!
