Dear Parents and Carers

We have a lovely 4-day long break with the ANZAC Day public holiday tomorrow and Friday off school for our Catholic Day pupil free day. We hope that all families enjoy their time together and that our students rest and renew their energy for our long 11 week term.

Anzac Day Assembly

Today we remembered those who gave their lives for our freedom at our ANZAC Day assembly, and we recognise that the cross, which is the sign of Christ’s self-sacrifice, also shines at night over our great Australian land.

New School Uniform

Our school uniform supplier Nell Grey has advised that there has been an unprecedented uptake of our new school uniform and stocks are running low. There is a shipment on its way with many tracksuit tops and pants in the consignment which should be in the shop in a few weeks’ time.

Girls Soccer Carnival

Selected Year 5 and 6 girls have been attending before school training with Mr King for the Girls’ Soccer Carnival. They are showing improved skills and teamwork, and we are excited for them to participate in this wonderful opportunity. We know they will represent our school well, in the new Soccer shirts sponsored by the P&F and designed by one of our talented students.

We ask all families to keep our Year 6 Confirmation students in your prayers as they engage in final preparations to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in Week 5.

We are now accepting applications for Kindy 2025 and students in other years. If you know of a friend (a family not already at OLOM) who may be interested, please collect an application form from the office to give to them. If your friend's child is accepted to join our school, you will receive a new school shirt!

Kids Academy runs before and after school care here at OLOM. Pop into see them if you are interested in using this service to help look after your child before or after school.
