Dear CPHS Scholar & Family:


Welcome to Champlin Park High School and to the CP Family! Your high school years are an exciting time in your life as you will be making decisions that will affect you for years to come. We will be working with you to make your high school experience a great one!


To help you become familiar with CPHS and to connect with other students; we invite you to attend the events below. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us.

PICTURE DAY

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21 and THURSDAY AUGUST 22

We invite you to Champlin Park on Wednesday, August 21 from 8AM - 5PM or Thursday, August 22 from 7:30AM - 12PM to take your school photo. Enter through the E4 doors and take your picture in the auditorium. This will be your 2024-25 picture for the yearbook and your student ID.

ParentVUE and StudentVUE

Before Open House on August 28, please make sure you can log into both the StudentVUE and ParentVUE apps. You will need to access your student’s schedule electronically during Open House.

These apps will be important to view schedules, grades, attendance, lunch ID and other information. You can access these apps on your electronic devices. If you need assistance setting up your account, call the district technology support line, 763-506-HELP (763-506-4357). They are incredibly helpful!

OPEN HOUSE

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28

Open House is designed to help you feel prepared for high school. Students and families can attend anytime between 5:30PM - 7:30PM. Enter Champlin Park High School through E3 Main Doors and pick up important information for the night. We want you to be acclimated to your new environment by participating in a few activities that will help you navigate a new and large school. During open house you will complete the following tasks:

  • Rebel Quest Scavenger Hunt: Find important places in our school.

  • Follow Your Class Schedule: Locate your classes and meet your teachers. You will access your schedule through StudentVUE.

  • Meet Your Support Team: Counselors, social workers and other supports will be available for questions in the Cafeteria.

  • Chromebook Pickup: Chromebooks will be available in the LMC.

  • Tours guided by LINK Crew leaders: Meet at the SLH for an optional tour. Tours are at 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00.

  • Accessing ParentVUE and StudentVUE: Meet in the auditorium to learn and practice how to use ParentVue and StudentVue on your own electronic device.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

9TH GRADE ONLY, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

This is a regular school day from 7:40AM - 2:20PM and will begin in your ADVISEMENT classroom (Advisement class information is located on your StudentVUE class schedule). You will also be attending our CP Family Link Crew Freshman Rally. Please see the back of this letter for more details. Students ride their regularly scheduled school bus to and from school. Bus information will be available in StudentVUE and mailed home one week prior to the first day of school.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

10TH, 11TH & 12TH GRADES, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4
