Kim-Hoa Ung reads "A Gift for Nai Nai" to our Husky Primary Students 🎁
PTA's Read Across America Week was a smashing success at Monterey Highlands!
On Thursday 3/7/24, children's book author and former Highlands parent Kim-Hoa Ung read her debut picture book "A Gift for Nai Nai" to our primary students. She's an enthusiastic and thoughtful author who engaged our students with this heart-warming story about family bonds and perseverance.
We're so grateful for your time, Kim-Hoa! You're always welcome at Husky Nation! This author reading and Q&A session was integrated into our Reading is Fundamental (RIF) assembly for TK-3rd students. All students in these grades received a brand new free book from the Alhambra Educational Foundation (AEF)!
