September 18, 2024 - NEWSLETTER
Estimadas familias de Woodcrest,
We are settling into the new school year. Routines are beginning to take shape, and our school community is off to a fantastic start! The first few weeks have been dedicated to reinforcing our school-wide expectations, ensuring that every student is set up for a successful learning experience. It’s truly wonderful to see our students engaged and thriving in their work.
This year, we’ll continue to check in with you periodically to gather feedback about your experiences at Woodcrest. Expect to receive occasional texts and emails from Possip, the organization we partner with and will conduct these pulse checks. These surveys consist of just a few quick questions, and you’ll have the option to remain anonymous or include your name for follow-up, if needed. Our first pulse check will be sent out on Thursday, September 26.
We’re also excited to announce that it’s time for our annual Fun Run, sponsored by our PTO. This event is always a highlight for students and serves as the PTO’s only fundraiser for the school year. Be sure to check your child’s backpack for more information and see the PTO announcements below. The grand finale of the Fun Run will be the Fun Run Social—a great opportunity to connect with other Woodcrest families. Mark your calendars for Friday, September 27, 5:30-7 p.m. We hope to see you there!
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead!
Warm regards,
Jaime Nymann
Principal
