DCIU TECHNICAL SCHOOLS
There was a presentation for all 10th graders regarding the Delaware County Technical School during homeroom on Tuesday, 12/17 in the auditorium.
This presentation was also open to any 9th graders interested in the Cosmetology program. Those Contact Mrs. Jones in the counseling office if interested in applying. kjones@haverfordsd.net

Club News
Wreaths Across America
to recap our success with the Fords Honoring Veterans group on December 14th. We had a great group of kids come out and there were even younger children in Boy Scout groups who attend the Haverford School District elementary schools. It was amazing to talk to them and make connections with kids who will hopefully be running this program in the future.
We sold 103 wreaths in total, which could not have been done without the community. See picture below.

1) Spring Flag Football interest meeting will be on Monday, 1/13 at 9a in the HHS Orchestra room.
Spring Girls' Flag Football interest meeting for any HHS student interested in pursuing an additional opportunity this spring. Girl's Flag football is an "emerging PIAA sport" and this interest meeting will help us to identify if we have enough student interest to start a program at HHS. Please do not hesitate to stop by the HHS Athletic office to see Mr. Decina if you have any questions or concerns.

- Ice Hockey is 7-0 in the Central League and Plays Downingtown tonight in West Chester. They play Penncrest at The Skatium at 8PM on Monday, 1/13/25
- The Boys and Girls Swimming and Diving Teams celebrated Senior Night last Night! What a great group of Seniors representing HHS!
- Girls Competitive Spirit Are the District 1 Champs! See picture below! They have the Central League Championships tomorrow at HHS!
- Boys' Hoops had a big win last night with 2 free throws made with .9 seconds left to break the tie and beat Radnor!
- Girls' Hoops is heading to Boston this weekend for 2 games near Fenway Park! They are presently 8-1.
- Wrestling is still in 1st place in the Central League! They beat Episcopal Academy 56-36 on Wednesday evening!
- Indoor Track will be at Penn State this weekend after being at UPENN last week!
