Jackson Jaguars
Week of January 20, 2025
Principal Message
I hope that everyone stayed safe and warm through the snow and icy weather and enjoyed an extra day off. We look forward to seeing students back on campus tomorrow! The course fair scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. We will let you know as soon as other arrangements have been made.
We enjoyed welcoming our future Jaguars on campus last week, and our 8th graders will go visit LEE and Churchill this Thursday. There are many 8th graders who have still not turned in permission forms for this trip. Students who do not turn in their permission forms will have to stay back at Jackson while all of the other 8th graders are off campus. Please be sure to turn in permission forms on Wednesday if you haven't already.
Our girls basketball teams will be competing in end of season tournaments this weekend. Both 7th and 8th grade girls begin their tournament play on Friday (8th grade at Hill MS and 7th grade at Krueger MS). Boys basketball will play their final regular season game this Wednesday night. Tennis has a match against Harris MS at BAC on Friday. Academic UIL will be wrapping up their season at the district meet this Saturday at Lopez MS.
There are many announcements and fliers below, please take a look at all of the exciting things happening. I look forward to seeing you around!
Sincerely,
Candace Pearson, Principal
