Annual Bikes for Tykes Event
On Saturday, December 14, the Rio Rico Rotary held their annual "Bikes for Tykes" event. 60 1st grade students from the district's three elementary schools were winners in a raffle to receive a bicycle for Christmas. The Rio Rico Rotary would like to thank these organizations and individuals for their generous contributions and support: South32, Nickel's Diner, Tubac Rotary Club, Rio Rico Fire District, SCVUSD35 elementary school Parent Liaisons, Rio Rico Property Owners Association, Pete Ashcraft, and the many Rio Rico citizens that support their monthly 50/50 raffle.

Student Volleyball Tournament at Calabasas School

Excitement is in the air as the annual student volleyball tournament heats up here at Calabasas! The gym is buzzing with energy as students stop by during homeroom to cheer on their classmates and show off their school spirit. The competition is fierce, with teams giving it their all in every match—spikes, blocks, and teamwork on full display. Good luck, teams!

San Cayetano Grandparents Feast
San Cayetano Cheetah families had the opportunity to spend some quality time together last month during their "Grandparents Feast". Grandparents and students were able to enjoy some tasty pies and reflect over what they were grateful for this upcoming holiday season.
RRHS Receives Donations from the Community

RRHS Parent Liaison Maria Peña is working with the community to make the holiday season brighter for families in need. Some of the donated items are toys provided by the Stuff the Bus event, Blessing Boxes put together by Culinary Arts, coats, blankets, and pajamas. The Hope Tree is surrounded by many presents for the 33 kids who were sponsored mainly by teachers and Booster Clubs. Peña expressed her gratitude to all who have made this possible.
