2024-2025 The Year of Hope
December Updates
Dear Aura Caregivers,
I hope you are enjoying the Holiday Season! As we conclude 2024, and break for the winter holiday, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all who help make Aura School an amazing place to be. We are a community with many gifts and talents, which we share daily with one another and most important, our students. From the classroom, to our living room and all points in-between, our collective efforts to raise the whole child are filled with passion, commitment and a willingness to make decisions that may be hard in the present, but will have a positive and lasting influence in the future for all.
Parents and guardians, of course, are such a critical part of all we hope to accomplish on behalf of our Aura scholars. I am grateful to you for masterfully doing what I know firsthand is the hardest, most rewarding and joyous job of all. Thank you for entrusting us with your most precious gift. I am grateful to our wonderful, talented, creative, inquisitive, optimistic, resourceful and resilient students. In the spirit of this holiday season, I want to extend my thanks to all of you for everything that you do for our school. As we enjoy the upcoming holidays, it is my wish that each of you receives and returns the seasonal bounty of blessings and good tidings that make these days truly special.
Happy Holidays,
Dr. Madden

Thank you, HSA and ETEA!
Thank you to the HSA for providing the Holiday Shop for our Aura students. It was a well attended event and definitely brought the holiday cheer to all. Our ETEA provided hot chocolate and cookies which made the event even more special for all. Thank you to both the HSA and ETEA for your hard work in making this evening a success.
Student News from Henry, Aura Fourth Grader
Hot, Hot, Hot Chocolate here only have one rule, drink hot chocolate at school! Earlier this month, the school holiday shop was upon us. The teachers handed out amazing hot chocolate and they also handed out tasty cookies. I hope you enjoyed the Winter Concert. Grades K-3 sang and the Aura Choir performed. Have a wonderful Christmas and for the people who have a birthday in December, Happy Birthday!
