Family Program Transition Night
Family Program Transition Night
Families of our Kindergarten, 3rd and 6th years are invited and highly encouraged to attend our Family Program Transition night. This is the BEST opportunity to get to know your child's new Lead Guide and see the new classroom too! We want our families to feel welcomed and prepared for this exciting event in their child's lives, so we want to show you our heartfelt support.
We will begin the evening with refreshments at 5:00 in our Blue Tang classroom and then our programming will begin at 5:30pm. You will have the opportunity to explore the new program level, delve into the plane of development your child will be experiencing as well as ask any questions you may have. Lead Guides will share with you their wealth of knowledge of their program and what to expect for the coming year.
We can't wait to see our families this Thursday!

Testing Finishes This Week
It's that time of year again, testing season! While we do not pressure our students during testing time, we do remind them that they need to "show what they know" and take the testing seriously. What we would like for the students to so is to be sure they sleep well the night before, get a filling breakfast, and be ready to do their best.
We do NOT want to pressure out students, but we DO want them to take this seriously, show us what they know and be prepared on those important days.
Our test scores do determine our school grade, which in turn determines how the public views our school, so there is a level of importance to this testing. If our families can give reminders of being ready and prepared for these tests, it is important practice for other life events on which they will need to prepare for.
Thank you for working with your child and expressing how to prepare for important events, taking the time to do their best, and celebrating the fact they they are hard workers and this is how they can show off that hard work.
Testing Schedule
Our testing schedule can be found on the school calendar below as well as in the calendars that were brought home today. This week, 5th and 8th graders will take their Science exam on Tuesday, May 14th. and 7th and 8th grade will take their Civics End of Course Exam on Thursday, May 16th.
