Tiger Update
Information/Updates about Pickerington High School Central
Message from Mr. Lanier
Welcome to 2025!! Students return to school Monday, January 6, and we embark on finishing the journey that we started last August. We are excited that our remodeled spaces will be open for student use (including a new stair case in the middle of the building) upon their return. The construction of the new classrooms is ahead of schedule and will be ready for our Tigers next school year. There is a lot to be excited about in Tiger Nation!!
I hope that our students return with a renewed focus and energy to give their very best to their learning AND to support one another in that learning. Resolutions are always a part of this time of year as well. My hope for Tiger Nation is that we are RESOLUTE in making our RESOLUTIONS a reality. Stay focused on building a daily habit to make the resolutions come to fruition. Take little bites on a daily basis to build consistency and you will find that you are moving toward successful completion of the resolution.
Let's continue to be present to the present of the present and have a fantastic 2nd semester of the 2024-25 school year.
Have a restful break.
Tiger Up,
Mr. Lanier

Reminder About Student Photos & Information
As we approach Winter Break and prepare for the start of 2025, we encourage families to update their contact information.
If you prefer that your child’s photo, voice, or other “school directory” information not be used by the District or school on its communication platforms, please notify your child's school to OPT OUT.
Maintaining accurate contact information ensures that you receive timely updates and important notifications. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students and schools.

Reminder of PCD Expectations
Please have a conversation with your student. about adhering to the expectation that their PCD's should be put away while they are in the classroom and learning spaces (e.g. study hall). We will continue to prioritize student engagement in class by enforcing this expectation. Students who do not adhere to the expectation may have their device confiscated by an administrator.
