1. Thank you SO MUCH to our PTO and volunteers for their great work putting together our back to school picnic! It was so great to see so many families enjoying the gorgeous weather and each others' company!

2. MAP testing is underway and the students are hard at work showing off what they know in reading and math!

4. Next Friday is Millard West Wildcat Spirit Day! August 25th is the "Q Street Classic" opening varsity football game. Millard West is the home team this year against Millard South! Let's show are Wildcat Pride in our green and black!

Flyers from the Photographer will be coming home soon.

Doors will open at 8:20AM each morning. Students are not supervised until 8:20AM so please do not drop them off early. Students eating breakfast can come in at 8:15AM.

New this year, school will dismiss at 3:30PM every day, with the exception of Wednesday. Wednesday dismissal is at 2:30PM this year.

The Kick Off Meeting will be Thursday, August 31st.

Please fill out the RSVP if you plan to attend so we know how many pizzas to order for that night.

The Sign Up to be a Watch Dog will not be open until after the Kick Off meeting, it will be in the newsletter on Friday, September 1st.

We are going to ask that you only sign up for 1 to 2 spots at first, allowing time for others to get signed up as well.

The PTO is a great way to meet other parents, find out about PTO sponsored events and volunteer on several event committees. By joining and/or being a volunteer, you are working with other parents and teachers/staff members, to help enrich the educational experience for all students.
