February is Kindness Month

All staff and students are invited to wear pink or red (if they don't have pink) and promote kindness on Wednesday Feb. 26th.

• Weekly SEL lessons may include making a pink shirt to display in the main hallway, as well as reviewing kindness, the history of pink shirt day, and the importance of being an upstander.

• *A lower and upper elementary classroom has the chance to win a golden acorn for the most pink shirts and kind behaviors that day. (Wellness Room staff will visit classrooms to get the total number of students participating/total number of students present). Winners will be announced at the end of the day.

• Students will have the opportunity to participate in kindness challenges posted around the school.

• Pink chalk will be available for students to decorate our blacktop with kind words and drawings next week.

Yearbook preorders are available! Get yours while supplies last - $20 each. You may pay online with card or in the office with cash or check.
