Highlands will be honoring all veterans and military personnel during our Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, November 11th. We are asking if any parents have served in the military or are active in duty; please contact the office (630-420-6335) as we would like to include you in our short ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 8:15 AM around the flag pole in front of Highlands. - STUDENTS ENCOURAGED TO WEAR RED, WHITE & BLUE OR CAMOUFLAGE
We also encourage students show their appreciation on November 11th by wearing red, white, and blue, camouflage, or clothing supporting the branches of service; such as an Army or Navy hoodie. We want to bring awareness and honor the many men and women who have done so much for our country.
Quarters for a Cause & PAJAMA DAY
Highlands students and staff have another opportunity to be REAL-LIFE HEROES! On Friday, November 1st, Highlands’ Student Advisory Board will once again be collecting QUARTERS for A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter in Naperville. Last month, our generous school community raised $403.25!
This Friday, students are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas to school for a cozy day of learning! All proceeds will go directly to A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter in Naperville, helping our furry friends in need.
We appreciate your support in making a difference in our community. Our extra quarters add up quickly! Together, we can help provide food, shelter, and care for animals waiting for their forever home.
Thank you for your generosity, Heroes!

Please leave any weapons that may have come with your child’s costume at home.
