A perfectly timed show (Thanks Mr. Kaitz!), fit for the season. Full of magic, wizards, and Harry Potter jokes! Our students are gifted entertainers, and made us laugh all night long. Special shout out to our Purple and Gold Casts and to our Stage Crew who did an outstanding job!
Go Brahmas!
Girls Tennis Hacienda League Finals - DBHS Finishes in 1st Place!
On Wednesday, October 27, the Hacienda League individual league tennis finals culminated with a big win for the Brahmas! Senior Laura Gao and junior Chloe Cadelina finished in first place with a score of 6-1, 6-1 in the finals.
Yesterday, sophomore Jasmine Buenafe and senior Julienne Nguyen played in the first round against the number one seed, splitting sets to ultimately finish 8-10 in a tiebreaker. It was a seriously impressive first-round match despite the final result. Singles players Emily Tsao and Grace Lu also completed the first round of play with a solid effort and Brahma spirit.
Thank you to all the teachers who continue to support our athletes in the classroom - we couldn't do this without you. Please congratulate your students on a job well done if you see them!
Thanks again for all of the support this season - I will keep you posted on Chloe and Laura's CIF play that begins November 22.

Girls Golf Advances CIF
Congratulations to Senior Irene Park (shown in photo) who shot a 73 at Los Robles Greens and will advance to River Ridge in Oxnard to compete in the CIF Individual tournament. Ella Chiu and Bella Yang played a tough round and just missed being in the top 36 players in the tournament. There were 130 golfers who competed for 36 spots.
Our Brahmas will compete in the CIF team tournament on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at Los Serranos GC. Our Golfers will compete to move on to the team competition at River Ridge.

1) Students need to write a 5-paragraph essay describing the most rewarding and challenging aspects of being a leader at DBHS and/or our community.
2) On a separate paper, submit a list of all activities, leadership roles, and any honors/awards received.
