Dec. 11th: Staff Jingle Bell Tour! The Calvert Elementary staff will be visiting a few bus stop locations on the afternoon of December 11th to spread holiday cheer to our students and families. A tentative schedule is below: We will be traveling by bus, so please allow a few minutes prior/after to the following schedule:

• ELA Express December 2024 - The focus for this edition is an explanation for how visualization supports comprehension.

• If your child previously received Medicaid benefits please remember that there is no longer an automatic renewal. You can find more information on how to renew your child’s benefits HERE.

• The Office of Multilingual Education will be offering virtual (zoom) parent workshops twice a month on Tuesdays starting on October 15, 2024. Time: 10 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Flyer

• The Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee is hosting a meeting on January 15, 2025, 6pm - 7:30 pm, in the Chesapeake City Elementary School (GMES) Media Center. Hannah Harvey, SLP will be providing resources on how to support your child with expanding communication. Children Welcome. Please join us!
