⭐️ Holiday Gift Drive via Sherman Social Services
The Sherman Holiday Gift Drive is gearing up for another great holiday season! Stop by Sherman Social Services and review the “wish lists” on our Giving Tree. Whether you want to purchase a gift for a family with children or an elderly resident, your gift will mean a lot to the household you help.
We have made the Gift Drive easy this year by requesting gift cards only, not wrapped presents. Gift cards can be in any amount you would like. The program is completely confidential and anonymous. You won’t know who you are giving to and the recipient will not know who gave – but holiday joy will be shared.
The deadline for dropping off gift cards is Dec. 6, Friday. This early deadline enables our families and seniors to get some holiday shopping done before Christmas. For more information on the Sherman Holiday Gift Drive, call Sherman Social Services at 860-354-2414, ext. 2.

Our Seniors brought their dancing shoes to Sherman School and learned how to dance the Cha Cha Cha with our 8th graders!
The Sherman Volunteer Fire Prevention Week Poster Contest has chosen its winners! Honestly, we were blown away by the detail and artistic talent our students applied to their posters. Great job, everyone!

Mr. Butler's 6th grade math students experimented with ratios on mustache and wig day. Students hypothesized about the color intensity of a mixture based on the given ratios of various colored liquids. They then tested their hypotheses by mixing the liquids, before creating their own solutions based on a desired intensity.
We're off to a colorful start to Spirit Week this week! Here are some totally rad shots from NEON/80s Day!
4th grade, lookin' rad in their neon!
7th graders took a break from Tuesday's "Wig & Mustache" silliness to pose for a group pic
More wigs! More mustaches!
