Get your yearbook for the 2024-2025 school year while you can. Less than 500 remain, so order early.

AIM Ideas Lab

The AIM Lab is an 8-week program taking place from January 27 - March 17, 2025. Participants have the opportunity to earn 12+ hours of community service hours, connect with other teens, and develop skills and research, data analysis, and public speaking.

Topic for this year: “How Optimism Has Guided Me Through Trying Times.” The time allowed will be not under 4 minutes or over 5 minutes.

~AGHS Club Announcements~

Clubs should know in order to advertise for your club's special events, please turn your announcement into room #205 for posting. Going forward, flyers will be hung in Eagle Hall, on the tri marquee and blue board in the quad, on the Softball Shed wall, outside room #912, and in the admin building window. All other posters will be removed.

~Attendance~

Make Sure to Clear your Absences

Clear Absences by 4pm Tuesday, 11/05/24. Please make sure that the Attendance Office is informed of the reason for any still unverified absences for 10/07/24 - 11/01/24. After that date, we will not be able to make any changes.

College & Military Visits

Seniors and Juniors planning a college/military visit should stop by the Attendance Office to pick up an Excused Absence Request form ahead of their visit. If approved, up to two days may be excused. Visits that will last longer than two days would require a Short Term Independent Study Contract to excuse the absence.

~Counselor's Corner~

The fall semester is halfway over! Please take a moment to check grades and make a plan for the remainder of the semester. Semester grades are final and passing grades are essential to high school graduation and college entrance! Counselors are available to help students with academic struggles and create plans for success in each class.

Seniors and Senior Parents! Financial Aid Night is almost here! Our AGHS Financial Aid night will be this Wednesday, November 6th from 6:00PM - 7:30PM. We will have important information about FAFSA/California Dream Act, Cal Grant, Cuesta Promise, and scholarships. We would love to see you there!

9th Grade Parents and Students: We will begin the process of scheduling with our freshmen this week. Counselors will be meeting with all 9th graders to discuss their 10th grade schedules. Please check out all of our scheduling information HERE.

Work Permits

Attention all students that plan on working this year. Please submit a completed work permit request form to Mr. Coville ASAP, or email him at trevor.coville@lmusd.org. Anybody that needs their current permit extended can stop by Room 510, or email Mr. Coville as well.
