Good afternoon CMMS Family and Friends,
September flew by and October will be here before we know it. We just finished Homecoming and that week was a blur. But like they say, “Time flies when you're having fun.” On top of the fun, we have had two outstanding pep rallies and great participation in our dress-up days.
Furthermore, as we are finishing our 7th week of the first 9 weeks, we want to make sure you and your child have everything to be successful. The end of the 9-week grading period is October 9th. To help with this process, we have tutoring going full steam ahead. If your child has a missing assignment or not grasping a new concept, send them to tutoring, so they can get that extra layer of support. Additionally, please, reach out to your child’s teachers about their grades. We do not send report cards, but through Skyward, you can always access your student grades at any time.
We are here for your child, their education, physical and mental well-being. If your child is doing well in class and at school, please let their teachers know. The teachers work so hard, and we don’t want them to only receive questions regarding discipline issues and/or bad grades. Let’s show our teachers positive feedback, too! Capturing Kids Hearts and #2710 are in full go mode.
Remember to check our Facebook and Skyward for the most up-to-date information possible. Many fall activities are happening, and our students are flourishing. We love showcasing our students and teachers. You don’t want to miss it!
Lastly, our Fox Card sales have ended, and we raised money to do some cool things for our students and staff. Here at CMMS, we are looking forward to what October brings us. (hopefully cooler temperatures).
