We’re thrilled to announce that our Read-A-Thon is on day two, and we’re counting on YOU to help make it a success! If you haven’t already, please take a moment to be proactive and activate your child’s personal reader page! It only takes a minute or two, and your support will not only encourage your child to put first things first and prioritize their reading goals, but it will also help us synergize as a school community to achieve our financial goals.

Together, we can create an amazing experience that helps every student sharpen the saw through the power of reading. Thank you for helping us reach our goal—we couldn’t do it without you!

Some students brought home the School Improvement Council's (SIC) annual Parent/Guardian Survey yesterday and the remaining students brought it home today. This survey is required of all South Carolina schools and provides our school with valuable information concerning our programs, practices and procedures. Please complete this survey and return in the provided envelope by Friday, March 7. These surveys are anonymous. We ask that you complete one for each child you have that attend Coosa.

The cafeteria will be serving two special meals this week to students. A Cultural Lunch in honor of Black History Month on Thursday and a Read Across America themed lunch on Friday.
