We have several overdue items in our media center. Please take a moment to check with your student(s) to see if they have any overdue Library books. Homeroom teachers will remind your student this week if they have any overdue books/items.
All outstanding books should be returned as soon as possible.

A Note from the Nurses Office
NBMS families,
"If your child/student has medications at school please begin preparing pick up accommodations. Medication must be picked up by the parent/guardian, they can not be sent home with students.
Please make arrangements to pick up your child’s medication on or before the last day of school:
The last day of school is Tuesday, June 11th, 2024. School policy prohibits storing medications over the summer.
MEDICATIONS REMAINING AFTER Tuesday, JUNE 11TH, 2024 WILL BE DISCARDED.
Please call the school nurse if you have questions.
PLANNING FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR's MEDICAL/FOOD NEEDS
In order to accommodate your child’s medical or dietary needs for next school year, we will need to have new medication orders and/or Care Plan's completed by you and your child’s physician (if indicated). ALL CARE PLANS AND MEDICATION ORDER FORMS MUST BE UPDATED EVERY SCHOOL YEAR (diet orders are good until changed by your child’s doctor)
We are happy to provide next year’s form now to give you and your physician time to complete them by the start of next school year (2024-2025).
We will need to receive all completed forms BY the first day of school. If the forms are not completed and turned in by the first day of school in August, your child’s medical plan, special diet, medications, etc. may be delayed.
Please review the forms per the school's webpage under school nurse or you can email me to request the documents. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. You can email the plans and orders to me at kaitlyn.custy@onslow.k12.nc.us or tamara.briley@onslow.k12.nc.us
In August, you will also be given a “Permission for Emergency Care” form. Please read carefully and complete accurately. We look at every form for every student.

Hours: 2:40pm - 6:00pm.
Monthly Cost: Approximately $65. this includes a snack each day
Program Overview:
*A variety of programs - Arts, Healthy Habits, Smart Moves, Money Matters, STEM, Boys and Girls Clubs of America programs
*Power Hour Daily - During this time, all students will work on homework, projects etc.
