In Case You Missed It:
The NYLA-SSL Summer Institute is being held in Syracuse July 31 - August 1. It is pending approval from NYLA, but will likely be approved soon. You can find information about the Summer Institute here. The SLS will provide a limited number of scholarships to school librarians interested in attending.
If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please do so here by June 13th. You will be notified if you are a recipient and registration instructions after that date.

Spotlight on New Books with Alicia and Stacey
Spotlight on New Books with Alicia Abdul and Stacey Rattner
Join elementary librarian Stacey Rattner and high school librarian Alicia Abdul, who will spotlight book titles for students at all levels. Combining their love of literature with practical discussions on reading in and out of school, participants will also leave with a booklist in addition to ideas for activities and events.
