Math Corner

We hope this message finds you well and ready for another wonderful year. While you know that we use the Bridges in Mathematics program as our primary resource for math instruction, we have a variety of resources we use to enhance the learning experience for our students; Illustrative Mathematics(IM) is one of those. Our middle schools currently uses IM as their primary resource, and after looking over the Principles and Design Structure of IM, we have decided to start exploring the program as a resource for math instruction in addition to our Bridges program. As always, classroom teachers will share family support letters as they enter each unit of study in either program. Our math coach, Stacie Broden, is participating in training sessions on the program and will provide professional development throughout the year for teachers using the materials.
