We have been through many hard times during the pandemic, high school student Cole Henley has decided to create some beautiful rainbow catchers, necklaces, and keychains for people who stayed at home. In 2020, COVID-19 has taken over and we’ve been asked to stay at home while the healthcare workers get to work on a vaccine that will slow the spread. Schools, colleges, grocery stores, concerts, and even restaurants around the world have been closed down because of COVID-19 and many lives have been lost and families have suffered many losses of loved ones because of that. We strive to survive by isolating in our homes (like houses, apartments, mansions, etc.), washing our hands with soap and water (or hand sanitizer), practicing social distancing, sanitizing our work stations, and most importantly, wearing our masks in order to slow the spread of COVID-19. Healthcare workers have worked extremely hard on the vaccine. In September 2020, schools, colleges, stores (specifically any grocery store you can think of), and restaurants (fast food, fancy, diners, etc.) start to open, but, unfortunately, no news on concerts. Cole Henley returned to Chimacum High School and come up with an amazing idea: he wants to make rainbow catchers, necklaces, and even keychains. Proceeds of the sale of the rainbow catchers, necklaces, and keychains will benefit the students of the Flexible Learning classroom. Cole Henley has made many rainbow catchers for many people who have stayed at home during the pandemic. However, Cole Henley made more than just rainbow catchers; he made necklaces and keychains. He will not stop making rainbow catchers, keychains, and necklaces until COVID-19 goes away for good. The beads that he used for the rainbow catchers are made of stone, glass, and/or plastic. The rainbow catchers, necklaces, and keychains come in many colors such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and many more. The rainbow catchers, necklaces, and keychains also come in different lengths.
