October is one of my favorite months of the year. The temperatures cool off, and there are so many fun events happening - both at school and hopefully at home. One of my favorite things about Missouri in the fall is the leaves turning into beautiful shades of orange, gold, red, brown, and purple.

We have the best Bobcats at Lonedell. So far this year, we have recognized 113 "Paws"itively Awesome Students and 23 Awesome Staff members. These individuals are recognized during morning assembly. This is such a wonderful way to start each day - focusing on positives seen throughout the building.

Please be watching the weather and send your child with a jacket or hoodie as needed (please write their name on the tag so if it ends up in the lost and found, we can find the owner).

• October 30 - Early Release (12:14) with Elementary Conferences from 1-7
• October 31 - No School - Teacher PD

At some point we have all heard our children say, “I can’t do this!” Our natural response is, “Yes, you can!” Let’s help students take pride in themselves by setting achievable goals they can accomplish.

Goal Setting Checklist

• Be honest with yourself about what you can accomplish.

We are thrilled to announce that our A Team Volleyball has clinched first place in their home tournament today! This remarkable achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and teamwork.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the teams that participated, showcasing incredible talent and sportsmanship. Your enthusiasm and spirit contributed to a fantastic event.
