Graduation Rehearsal - Friday June 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm - to prepare for graduation.
We are looking forward to coming together and to celebrate the Class of 2024. This is the starting place where you will go forward and make your mark.
Final Culminating Activities
Please be aware of the dates for the Semester 2 Final Culminating Activities (FCA):
- Monday June 17 : Period 1 FCA 8:30 am (Period 2, 3 and 4 classes in the afternoon)
- Tuesday June 18 : Period 2 FCA 8:30 am (Period 3 and 4 classes in the afternoon)
- Wednesday June 19 : Period 3 FCA 8:30 am (no classes in the afternoon)
- Thursday June 20 : Period 4 FCA 8:30 am (no classes in the afternoon)
It is important that all students attend these important assessments.
Students who remain at the school outside of FCA times may study in the cafeteria or library.
Grade 9 EQAO Math Assessment
On June 13 and 14, our students in the Grade 9 mathematics course (MTH1W) will be taking part in the online Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics administered by the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO). This assessment is administered province-wide and has been developed by Ontario teachers and assessment experts. It is designed to allow students to demonstrate their skills and knowledge relating to mathematics as described in The Ontario Curriculum, Grade 9: Mathematics (2021).
Students will complete the online assessment in two sessions (Session A and Session B). Each session will be completed in one sitting and will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. The assessment uses a model that adapts to the individual student’s performance as the student progresses through each session. Students will also be asked to complete a questionnaire when they are finished.
