It was a bittersweet day as we said Goodbye to Principal Beal. We are excited for her and wish her all the best in her new role. But her support, leadership and friendship will be greatly missed.

She will forever have a home here at Herbert Green.

We are excited to announce that Herbert Green will now be moving to a bell schedule with all 6 class periods each day! This new schedule will go into effect starting Monday, November 4th. School start and dismissal times will remain the same but break and lunch times have slightly changed. The updated times can be found on our website:

This also means that if your student is in 7th or 8th grade, they will now have PE every day. Please make sure that they bring their PE clothes and shoes to school every day as dressing for PE is worth 1/3 of their total grade. If you have any questions, please contact the front office. Thank you!

Congratulations to our Herbert Green Hands4Hope Club for being recognized as Club of the Week! They are in the Investigation Stage of their Club Project. They have researched nonprofits that benefit animals and veterans, and have invited speakers to come to their next meeting. As they wait to gain important information about those organizations, they have been brainstorming ways to raise funds and awareness for the organization they end up choosing. The Club has 30 participants who are full of ideas and positive energy! Their goal is to make a decision about who they will benefit and what they will do by the middle of December. We can't wait to see what they come up with!
