Oct 21st- Early Release Day
All day classrooms will participate in district-wide early release days on the first and third Monday of each month. This will allow teachers time to collaborate with colleagues, create lesson plans and analyze student data. Please plan to pick up by 1:30pm
Oct 22nd- Disctrict Showcase
Do you want to learn more about the district schools all in one place? Please join us for the district showcase on October 22nd from 5:00-7:00 at Westminster Highschool. Now is the time to start learning about the school you would like your child to attend for kindergarten. This event allows you to learn more about all the schools in a fun way for the entire family. Students get to wear their Halloween costumes as the move around the high school and collect goodies. Parents can use this opportunity to learn about the wonderful things our elementary buildings offer.
Oct 24th- Parent Coffee
Are you interested in learning how to strengthen your relationship with your child? Please join us at Parent Coffee on Oct 24th to learn more about the parent class that will be offered during second semester.
Oct 25th- Trick or Treat Street
We hope everyone is able to join us for our Trick-or-Treat Street on Friday, October 25th. We ask that families that are interested in participating arrive for dismissal at 2:00. Families will walk down the hallway and collect goodies from each classroom. Students will need to be accompanied by an adult to attend the event. Trick-or-Treat street will be from approximately 2:00-2:30. We need small donations to hand out during our Trick-or-Treat Street. Items can include candy, pencils, spider/bug rings, stickers, etc. Please bring donated items to the office by Wednesday, October 23rd
Oct 28-29th- Parent Teacher Conferences (regular school days)
Parent Teacher conferences is a great time to learn about how your child is doing in class. During this event your child’s classroom teacher will present data about how your child has been performing this year. You will receive a packet of useful information about your child’s progress and specific activities that you can use at home to work on with your child. This will also be a great opportunity to ask your child’s teacher questions that you may have.

Does your child neeed a physical (well child visit) for the upcoming school year?
Kids First Health Care here at Gregory Hill offers well child care including physicals, call to make an appointment at (303) 428-4384. We accept Medicaid, CHP+, most private insurances, and uninsured patients.
Although some absences are unavoidable, it is important that students attend school as often as possible. Preschool is a great time to start building a habit of good attendance. Please note that we are allowing days for students to be absent for illness and do not want families to send children to school sick. Students are asked to stay home if they are experiencing any cold/flu like symptoms.
