Dear Parents & Caregivers,
We are approaching the end of a long 11-week term that has been full of events and activities that our children and parents have enjoyed. Tomorrow, the parent interviews will take place in the hall to provide parents an opportunity to discuss their child's progress. Thank you to those parents who made themselves available, it is a great chance to catch up with the class teacher and get any clarification around where your child is in their educational journey.
PARENT INTERVIEWS TOMORROW - SCHOOL FINISHES 1pm
A reminder that tomorrow, 20th June, school will conclude at 1pm to enable parent interviews to take place. Thank you to those parents who have booked times, the interview portal has now closed. If you wish to make a time with your child's teacher, please contact them directly via Seesaw. Camp Australia is available for parents wishing to make use of the service from 1pm.
P&F QUIZ NIGHT
The recent P&F Quiz Night on Saturday was a huge success thanks to the efforts of those volunteers who coordinated the night. There were over 100 tickets sold and from all reports a great night was had by all. Thank you to all the volunteers and the local businesses that donated prizes, but a special thanks to Rose Canzirri and Meg Goldie who organised the majority of prizes and quiz master to ensure it was a fun-filled night. Also, to Stephenie Kunder who oversaw the licensed bar for parents to enjoy. The money raised continues to support our children with the funds going towards a new Kindy/PP playground at the end of 2024.
STAFF LEAVE
Mr Kinder will be on parental leave for the first four weeks of term 3 as he welcomes his second child. Mrs Kerina Edwards will be teaching the 3B class for this period of time and is very familiar with our school and children. Miss Cruse from 4W will also be on leave in Week 11 of Term 2 until the conclusion of Week 1 in Term 3. Mrs Rhonda Landers, our current Health teacher will be looking after 4W in her absence.
Finally, I will be taking a period of two weeks long service leave to begin Term 3 and Mr Geoff Clarke has been appointed Short-Term Principal in my absence. Mr Clarke will be ably supported by Miss Campbell and Mrs Kavanagh who will be in the position of Acting Assistant Principal.
YOUR MOVE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL
In conjunction with the City of Wanneroo and Your Move Schools Program, Mrs Kavanagh has worked in partnership to develop a Safe Routes to School Guide which is attached below. This guide provides the safest walking/riding/scooting to school routes in the surrounding suburbs for our children and is designed to maximise activity whilst keeping our children safe. A wonderful initiative by the City of Wanneroo and Your Move. Thanks to Mrs Kavanagh for her work in making this document available to our families.

We are so grateful to all our sponsors, volunteers, and Bamboozled for making the night a blast of entertainment, trivia, and giggles. We couldn't have done it without you. And hats off to those fashionistas who rocked the theme and dressed up as a character starting with S.F.O.A.
Our next event is the end of term community lunch on Friday 28th June. You should have received a note and seen the info on the FaceBook pages. Cash orders are due Friday 21st June and QuickCliq orders close on Monday 24th June at 6am.
