WELCOME TO THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR!!!
Please be sure to read these newsletters each week as it will provide you with information, resources, events, and other happenings. This will be sent out on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm via email and posted to Schoology on Monday morning. A link to the weekly newsletter is also available on the website homepage. Please make sure that the school has your most up-to-date phone numbers and email addresses.
Important Dates and Events
Week of August 19th
A Week
August 16: HAC opens at 5:00 pm
August 19: PHES open house
- Students with the last names starting with A-M will attend from 1:00-2:00.
- Students with the last names starting with N-Z will attend from 2:00-3:00.
- Kindergarten is by appointment- teachers will reach out to families to schedule this
August 21: 1st Day of School for Kindergarten - 5th Grade
August 21: Pre-K Orientation-teachers will reach out to families to schedule this
August 22: 1st Day of School for Pre-K
Registration
Registration is open for the 2024-25 school year for all grades. See the attached flyer below for information on how to apply for Pre-k and please stop by the office to register for kindergarten. All students currently attending Park Hall Elementary Pre-k will automatically be enrolled in kindergarten. No action is required for those students.
Open House Information
Open house will be held on Monday, August 19 for grades 1-5.
- Students with the last names starting with A-M will attend from 1:00-2:00.
- Students with the last names starting with N-Z will attend from 2:00-3:00.
Pre-k open house will be held between 9:30 and 12:30, by appointment only, on the 21st of August. Pre-k teachers will reach out via email/phone by the 19th of August to schedule appointments.
Families should bring their child's school supplies to Open House in a bag, labeled with their name on it.
Don't forget to communicate with your child's teacher how your child will get home each day (bus number or parent pick-up)
First Day of School Information
Students in grades K-5 return to school on Wednesday, August 21st.
Pre-k's first day is Thursday, August 22.
These important reminders will help ensure a successful first day:
- Be sure you have communicated with the teacher how your child will be getting home from school each day. Parent pick-up applications and tags will be available at Open House.
- Parents of students in grades Pre-k and Kindergarten must have an adult at the bus stop in order to be let off the bus. PLEASE BE EARLY!
- The buses will be late the first few days of school as we check and double check to be sure each child is on the correct bus. Please be patient!
- If your child has medical needs (siezures, severe allergies, asthma, etc.) please inform your child's teacher.
- All Park Hall students will receive free lunch and breakfast again this year.
- Check your child's take home folder as we will be sending the Title I Home/School Compact, Park Hall's Fundraising Plan, Title I Parent Right to Know Letter, Title I Teacher and Para Qualifications 24-25, Principal's Attestation Letter

Park Hall Elementary School provides a rich educational experience that focuses on preparing well rounded students that are ready to succeed in their future college and career endeavors.
