I would like to thank our students, parents, PTA and community members for their help and support celebrating our staff during last week's Teacher / Staff Appreciation week. The staff enjoyed a week of receiving cards, letters, thank you messages, emails, flowers, treats and lunch throughout the week. Thank you to our amazing PTA for organizing much of the events and celebrations.

Also, a big Shout Out to all of our families that came out to the Bobcat Achievement Night and the PTA Bobcat Prowl. The students truly enjoyed the opportunity to show off their academic projects and classwork at the Achievement Night and their fitness and athletic talents during the Bobcat Prowl. Thank you to our families, teachers and students for supporting 2 very wonderful and successful events here at Brooker Creek Elementary.

PreK 3's, VPK and Kindergarten are engaged in the alphabet countdown. This week they celebrated exercise day, favorite things day, and superhero day to name a few.

I hope you were able to join us at Bobcat Achievement Night. The night kicked off with the 4th and 5th grade chorus production. Mr. Ross did a fantastic job of incorporating Kindness into the song selections. The students sounded amazing. Classrooms were opened and students had the opportunity to spotlight the work they have been engaged in this year. I enjoyed seeing the art pieces and portfolios going home with students.

We closed out the week with the PTA Bobcat Prowl Saturday morning. there were over 1000 runners engaged in either the 5k or 1 mile run/walk. Thank you Kim Cudzil for your countless hours of work to make this event a success.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you for your continued support and partnership. We truly value your collaboration in making this school year a success. Let's make these last 18 days the best ones yet!

Dr. Brown and I have developed an end of the year challenge for our students targeting their academic commitment and perseverance over the next 14 days. Please remind your students that the Bobcat BASH is earned through: Trying Your Best, Attitude is Everything and Doing your Best. All students that display these three indicators will be invited to the BOBCAT BASH!

In order for the BASH to be successful, we need your generosity and support! We need donations and volunteers to make this BAST the best event of the year.

Below you will find two links. One will take you to the donations form where you can sign up to bring in supplies for the event. The second link will allow you to sign up to volunteer on Friday, May 23rd.
