**Scholarship Opportunities**
HLAA 2025 Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is offered to high school seniors with a
documented hearing loss who plan to pursue postsecondary education or vocational training.
The application can be completed online, printed using the attachment or
from the HLAA/Rochester website
https://www.hearinglossrochester.org/forms-publications . We encourage
students to use the attached fillable form for ease of use and uniformity.
Completed applications must be postmarked or date stamped no later than
April 11, 2025. Applications received after this date will not be
considered.
Student-View Scholarship Program
Student-View Scholarship Program: Complete an online survey about colleges in your area and you could win one of 13 scholarships from Student Insights. High school seniors of all academic levels and financial backgrounds are eligible for awards that range from $500 to $5,000. Scholarships are awarded to students selected randomly. The application survey takes from 15 to 25 minutes. See website for details.

**BOCES 2 CWD Adult Education and Career Training Open House**
Career training is one of over 600 pathways after high school. Find out more about the pathways after high school in the attached take aways from the recent TradeUp event and join us at the BOCES 2 Center for Workforce Development (CWD) Adult Education and Career Training Open House on Tuesday, April 22 at 6:00 PM at the WEMOCO Career and Technical Education Center, 3589 Big Ridge Road in Spencerport.
The event is free, open to the public, and does not require registration or RSVP. Please share with students, families, colleagues, networks, and community members.

Through a self-guided tour, visitors will learn about CWD’s adult education and career training programs, explore our well-equipped facility, meet the instructors, and observe current students in action.
CWD offers several low-cost, short-term career training programs in healthcare, construction, and manufacturing, and literacy programs that help individuals earn their high school equivalency diploma or learn/improve their English Language skills at NO COST.
