ECC news

It is so exciting to be a part of the Early Childhood Center. I have spent this last week enjoying the children and watching them enjoy this weather! It is hard to believe we are at the end of October. The leaves are changing and falling. Halloween is right around the corner!

We had Maple the therapy dog come and visit the ECC playground and classrooms. Maple will be visiting us here every other Monday. We are excited to have Maple visit the students!

On Wednesday October 30 we will be having a Trunk or Treat at the ECC! 4:30-6:00. Thank you for all the generous donations.

The holidays are right around the corner. Each year, we have been able to provide gifts to families in our ECC Community who may have a need (gift cards, gas cards, diapers, food card, etc.) if your family could use a little extra this year please reach out to me at corinne_balyk@wrsd.net and I will add you to our Giving Tree list.

The Early Childhood Center will be collecting new unwrapped toys between November 18th and November 4th. if you would like to donate, please send in an unwrapped toy labeled Toys for Tots and we will make sure it gets into the donation box.

My first week here and I share your concern about the parking lot at arrival and dismissal! Please be cautious and careful in our parking lot. Please try to follow the flow of traffic by following the painted arrows. Our children are so little and I am worried about drivers not seeing them. I am working on trying to come up with some type of alternative plan.

November 18th to December 4th: Toys for Tots Drive

November 27-29 - No School - Thanksgiving Break
